Stellenbosch University researchers are conducting a scientific study to see whether a coronavirus (COVID-19) cough sounds different to any other cough, in order to develop a smartphone app that can tell you whether you should have a lab test done. This will help to reduce the number of lab tests needed so that time, reagents and money is not wasted on so many negative tests.

Anyone who has had a recent coronavirus/SARS-COV2 lab test can participate. For more information or to take part, click here or visit https://coughtest.online/.
