Then apply for the Tübingen-South Africa Programme 2014.
The Tübingen-South Africa Programme is a cultural and language exchange program for South African students aiming to expose them to German culture and language. It also aims to bring about closer ties and understanding between the two countries. Students spend a month in Tübingen in a program designed to provide a broad spectrum of knowledge in a wide variety of subjects, from language to history to economics. The visit also includes factory visits and sightseeing excursions which makes for an exciting month of multi-faceted learning.
Beneficiaries are 18 students from universities across South Africa: Gauteng, KwaZulu Natal, Eastern Cape, Southern Cape and Western Cape. The closing date for applications is 7 October 2013.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- May not be in your final year of registration at SU in 2014
- Have not travelled overseas
- Must be able to travel to Germany for the month of January 2014
- Must be eager to engage in group discussions and enthusiastic about group activities.
- Good ambassador for Stellenbosch University & South Africa
- Must be South African citizen OR hold valid South African study permit
