A new cleaning service provider for Stellenbosch University, Servest Cleaning Services, has been awarded the cleaning services contract on the Stellenbosch, Tygerberg and Bellville Park campuses from 1 February 2023 under the management of Facilities Management. The previous Metro Cleaning Services contracts on the Stellenbosch and Tygerberg Campuses and the Afriboom Cleaning Services contract on the Bellville Park campus ended on 31 January 2023.
The cleaning services staff on all three campuses will remain unchanged, and therefore, daily cleaning services should not be impacted by the change of the service provider from 1 February 2023.
