Invitation: Equality Unit Workshop for staff

Interested in learning more about social justice and how you can effect change on campus? The Equality Unit will be hosting three workshops in 2023 and you are invited to attend. 

The workshops will delve into various social justice themes and provide you with information on the services offered by the Equality Unit. It will give participants a better understanding and knowledge of unfair discrimination, gender-based violence, workplace bullying, sexual harassment, sexualities, and gender, and set-out guidelines on how to refer and report incidents of unfair discrimination and harassment. 

The workshops are aimed at staff only and are free to attend. Interested staff will leave these sessions with a better understanding of how to define and recognise unfair discrimination, bullying, sexual harassment, victimization and GBV. You will be fully equipped to screen, refer and assist students and staff to the Equality Unit.
