Please note that, due to re-carpeting, the lowel level of the JS Gericke Library will not be accessible from 2 December 2013 to 14 January 2014. We apologise for the inconvenience and kindly suggest the following measures during the disruption period:
- For study or reading purposes, please find seating on the upper level of the Library.
- To retrieve books, journals and other materials required from the lower level, you are invited to approach staff at the lending desk of the Library for assistance. Arrangements have been made for staff members to retrieve material on your behalf from the restricted area.
- The Research Commons will remain open during the disruption period. Research Commons users may use the staircase closest to the Research Commons to gain access.
- Faculty librarians on the lower level will be temporarily relocated and will continue to be available for consultation. Please ask for directions to their temporary locations at the lending or the information desk on the upper level.
We do apologise sincerely for the disruption and hope the measures above will address the most acute inconveniences during the period concerned.
