We are delighted to share the exciting news that SunDMP, a Data Management Plan (DMP) tool powered by FAIR Wizard, was officially launched at the Library on 13 May 2024. The launch of this tool marked a significant milestone in our quest to streamline data management processes for researchers.
SunDMP is a cutting-edge DMP tool designed to empower researchers in writing their DMPs. With its user-friendly interface, researchers can effortlessly generate DMPs in various formats, including Word Docs, PDF Docs, JSON Data, HTML Docs, LaTex Docs, and Markdown Docs. SunDMP will enable researchers to comply with many funder and ethical application requirements.
To access the SunDMP tool, researchers can find the SU DMP form or template by visiting the library website. On the library website, click on “Research", then scroll down and select “Data Management Plan tool (SunDMP)", where they can find the SunDMP tool under the heading “DMP software".
In our commitment to support all SU researchers in generating their DMPs using this tool, we are pleased to introduce SunDMP Wednesdays, a dedicated initiative to providing comprehensive training sessions. The training sessions will occur every Wednesday starting on the 5th of June 2024, from 11:00 to 12:00. The format of the training sessions will be online via Teams, and the registration link will be available on the library website under the learning tab. The researchers can select the Library training calendar register icon to register. Alternatively, researchers can register for our data management planning sessions during the #SmartResearcher workshops.
