Maties Sport will host a memorial service for Mario Smith, administrative assistant at Maties Athletics, who died in a car accident on 28 June.
Mario had been an employee of Stellenbosch University since 2008.
According to Mohamed Ally, Manager: Maties Athletics, Mario was passionate about his job and loved Athletics.
"He was a passionate Matie who always stood up for what he believed in."
The memorial service will be held at Die Stal, Coetzenburg.
Date: 28 July
Time: 11:00
Anyone who had an acquaintance, friendship, professional or personal relationship with the late Mario Smith is welcome to attend. Please confirm attendance with Alicia Hector (aliciah@sun.ac.za) by 14:00 on Friday 25 July 2014.
