The Cape Higher Education Consortium (CHEC) is offering five short courses this year on a range of aspects of university teaching and learning. These unique professional learning opportunities for academics are a joint initiative of Stellenbosch University, the University of Cape Town, the University of the Western Cape, and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

Applications are now open for the fourth short course, Assessment in Higher Education, which will take place in September and October. The course consists of four contact sessions on 16, 23 and 30 September and 7 October. The sessions are offered from 15:30 to 17:30 and will take place on the Bellville campus of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

A limited number of participants will be accepted for this course. If you would benefit from attending this growth opportunity, it is therefore essential that you submit your details as soon as possible.

Course fees for SU lecturers will be paid by SU.
