The Cape Higher Education Consortium (CHEC) is offering four short courses in 2016 on a range of aspects of university teaching and learning. These unique professional learning opportunities for academics are a joint initiative of Stellenbosch University, the University of Cape Town, the University of the Western Cape, and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

The short courses taking place this year are:

  • Designing learning with technologies;
  • Research on teaching and learning: Preparing for your proposal;
  • Working across transitions and boundaries between work/society and formal higher education;
  • Reflecting on curriculum transformation.

The above-mentioned institutions may each nominate ten lecturers for participation. If you would benefit from attending this growth opportunity, it is therefore essential that you submit your application as soon as possible.

Course fees for SU lecturers will be paid by SU.

For registration and/or more information, please contact Dr Karin Cattell at (021) 808-3074 or kcattell@sun.ac.za.
