Academic and administrative staff members may now apply for the TRECCAfrica I Staff Exchange scholarship, to spend one to three months at a partner university.
The TRECCAfrica (Transdisciplinary Training for Resource Efficiency and Climate Change Adaptation in Africa) consortium is a network of six Universities, coordinated by Stellenbosch University – Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), Ghana, Mekelle (Ethiopia), Nairobi (Kenya), Nigeria-Nsukka and Stellenbosch (South Africa). The scheme supports the continent's sustainable development in addressing the twin challenges of climate change adaptation and natural resource depletion.
Cost covered:
- One roundtrip flight ticket and reimbursement of visa application costs;
- A monthly subsistence allowance of 1000EUR to cover accommodation expenses, travel in-country and monthly living expenses;
- Insurance coverage for the period of mobility (travel, accident and health).
