The following access control measures will apply from Monday, 15 August 2016, to all staff, students and visitors to the FISAN Building.
FISAN front door (north)
This door will be open from Mondays to Fridays from 07:30 to 16:30 for use by staff, students and visitors. From 16:30 to 07:30, only staff and students whose cards are activated for this door will be able to gain access. The heads of the three academic environments in the FISAN Building will indicate, in writing, which staff and student cards are to be activated. Visitors (and staff and students without cards) will have to sign in with the security officer from 07:30 to 16:30.
FISAN back door (south) – for deliveries
Suppliers delivering goods to the three academic environments in the FISAN Building will use this door, which will be controlled by a card reader 24/7. Suppliers delivering goods will be able to use the intercom and the security officer will sign them in. The suppliers can also contact the environments directly for access but only staff whose cards are activated for the door will be able to open it for the suppliers. The heads of the environments in the FISAN Building will indicate, in writing, which staff cards are to be activated.
FISAN Building and Education Block walkways 3 and 4 (north) and 4 (south)
The three relevant doors will be locked 24/7 and will be able to be used only by staff and postgraduate students of the three academic environments in the FISAN Building for access to the laboratories on the 3rd floor of the Education Building. The heads of the environments in the FISAN Building will indicate, in writing, which staff and student cards are to be activated.
FISAN Building and Education Block walkway 3 (south)
The relevant door will be open from 07:30 to 16:30, mainly for undergraduate students needing to access the FISAN Building for lectures and practical sessions. From 16:30 to 07:30, only staff and students whose cards are activated for the door will be able to gain access.
