Engaging with women’s experiences of campus rape culture: what can we learn from one South African university campus?

The Unit for Religion and Development Research (URDR), the Equality Unit, the Transformation Office, the SU Anti-GBV Movement, and the Division Student Affairs invite you to the launch of an online exhibition of selected photographic and audio findings of a research project by the URDR which explored the question “How are the drivers of campus rape culture understood and experienced by women students at Stellenbosch University?” Using an innovative participatory methodology called PhotoVOICE 2.0, this project partnered with women students at Stellenbosch University to contribute to a better understanding of the underlying drivers of campus rape culture.
