Due to the increasing role IT systems play in Teaching and Learning, Research and Community Service, regular upgrades to these systems are extremely important.
Due to the complexity and interaction between systems, it is also no longer possible to switch off a single system without impacting others.
Henceforth there will be two down weekends annually during which all major upgrades will be carried out.
The first of these for 2013 will be from 17:00 on Friday 21 June 2013 until 08:00 on Monday 24 June 2013. During this time period no network access will be possible.
